EOTC WEEK

11^th-14^th March 2013

EOTC week was crack up!  I had an amazing time.  The week flew by with lots of fabulous activities to do.  Let me tell you about my week………..                                                                    

ROCK UP:  was great! Jeff, the commander was so strict he made everyone do over 100 push ups!

Rock climbing:  The first thing I did was the rock climbing. Rock climbing is so  scary when you get to the top.  Jeff said we had to do abseiling but I was too scared because I have a fear of falling so I started climbing down. However, I then went up the wall three times, just to scare my fear away.

Archery:  was hard but fun. I sucked at shooting straight.  I hit the other teams’ target three times. I felt gutted because I only hit our target twice.  Our balloon buddy that we got at the start popped because one of our team members put it under her top and pulled it out. We lost by ten points for archery.

 

The cube:  was easy, we did it three times.  The first time was the fastest because there were two of us and the last time there was only one of us. Our team was the only team to do it three times.

 

The poisonous web:  was the hardest. There were 16 holes and as there were only 9 of us we were not allowed to go through the same hole twice or to touch the rope.  First Jessie went through the side so she could lift Jamie through one of the top ones.  We all made it through at the last minute.

 

Game over. At the end of the day we had prize giving. First they gave the spot prizes, our team didn’t get anything. Then they went to the team that came third, we didn’t get that either. Then they went to the team in second place, we didn’t get that either. Then we came to which team came first. Our team Tree came first, I felt so great and we got heaps of lollies and a can of cola!
